Selection: Freshest will have grey bloom on outer leaves, and a firm head.

Preparation: slice segments lengthwise as needed. Remove central core.

Good for You: More colour means more goodies. Cabbage provide Vitamin C and the B group; calcium, magnesium, phosphate and potassium.

And Tastes So Good: Perfect in cole slaw; classic with apple, bacon & a splash of vinegar; or sliced and cooked with ground cloves, apple and/or sultanas.

Storage: Store in fridge in an unsealed plastic bag.
