Selection: These apples have a rich sweet flavour and are crisp and juicy.
Preparation: Wash and eat or peel – your choice.
Good for You: Apples contain fibre, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc and a little iron; Vitamins A, some Bs including folate and C.
And Taste so Good: Mostly eaten raw; great in lunch boxes or in salads or cole slaw. Can be stewed or core, stuff with sultanas or dates and bake.
Storage: Kept in your fridge or fruit bowl will last well.
In my whole order the apples were the only disappointment. Most had brown bruised parts. Everything else was very good and we were very pleased.
