Apples – Fuji
1 kg is approximately 5 apples.
Selection: Fuji apples have a rich, sweet flavor, and are exceptionally crisp and juicy.
Preparation: Wash and eat as they are, or peel them—your choice.
Good for You: Apples contain fiber, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, and a little iron; plus Vitamins A, some B vitamins including folate, and C.
And Taste so Good: Usually enjoyed raw, Fuji apples are great in lunchboxes, salads, or coleslaw. They can also be stewed or cored, stuffed with sultanas or dates, and baked for a delicious treat.
Storage: Fuji apples stay fresh when kept in the fridge or a fruit bowl. They have a longer shelf life than many other apple varieties.
